Data Analyst

AccraFull-timeGhana only

Celsus gives property managers visibility into their portfolio — arrears, occupancy, cash flow, maintenance backlogs. You will be the person who makes that data trustworthy and useful, both for our customers and internally. You will work across the product and operations teams to define the metrics that matter, build the pipelines that populate them, and surface the insights that drive decisions.

Responsibilities

What you will own

01

Design and maintain data pipelines that move operational data from the Celsus platform into analytical models that are accurate, fresh, and queryable

02

Build and own the internal reporting layer: product usage metrics, revenue analytics, churn signals, and operational KPIs that leadership relies on

03

Partner with the product team to define and instrument the in-product analytics surfaces that property managers use — occupancy trends, arrears ageing, payment patterns

04

Investigate anomalies and data quality issues end-to-end — from source table to dashboard — and fix them, not just flag them

05

Make your work accessible: dashboards, documentation, and ad-hoc analysis that non-technical stakeholders can actually use and trust

Requirements

What we are looking for

3+ years in a data analyst or analytics engineering role, preferably at a SaaS company with transactional data

Strong SQL — comfortable with window functions, CTEs, and query optimisation on large relational datasets

Experience with a modern data stack: dbt, BigQuery, Redshift, or equivalent — you understand the difference between a transformation layer and a reporting layer

Proficient with a BI tool (Metabase, Looker, or similar) and experienced building dashboards that get used, not just built

A background in financial or property data is a strong differentiator — you understand what arrears ageing and net yield mean without needing them explained
