DevOps / Platform Engineer
Celsus handles rent payments, lease records, and financial data for property managers and their tenants. The infrastructure has to be reliable, observable, and secure — not occasionally, but always. You will own the platform layer end-to-end: CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, deployment strategy, and the monitoring stack that tells us what is happening before users do.
Responsibilities
What you will own
Own and evolve the cloud infrastructure for the Celsus platform — provisioning, networking, secrets management, and environment parity across staging and production
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that give engineers fast, reliable feedback and allow zero-downtime deployments
Set up and maintain the observability stack: structured logging, metrics, alerting, and tracing across the API, background workers, and database layer
Define and enforce security baselines — least-privilege IAM, encrypted secrets, dependency scanning, and network boundaries
Own database operations: backups, restoration drills, connection pooling, and performance monitoring under load
Requirements
What we are looking for
3+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering role supporting a production SaaS application
Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS or GCP preferred) — compute, managed databases, object storage, and networking
Proficient with Docker and container orchestration; Kubernetes experience is a strong advantage
Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or an equivalent that engineers actually trust
Comfortable with infrastructure-as-code tooling (Terraform or Pulumi) and a clear opinion on why it matters
